What we suggest: Planning Ahead of Time
One of the most effective ways to prevent drinking and driving is to have a plan before you know you are going to be drinking. Taking public transportation, calling a taxi or enlisting a designated driver are all ways you can prevent drinking and driving. Make positive choices to get home safely after a night out knowing that driving is not an option.
If you don’t bring your car to the party, you will be able to enjoy and drink with no worries of having to drive back home. Drinking and driving could lead to fatal consequences to you and others. After drinking and driving you are not only putting your life at risk but you are risking the lives of all those you come across while driving. The consequences of drunk driving are simply not worth the risk.
If you are pregnant, please don’t drink alcohol. Try alcohol free drinks instead.
